Alfredo Orsini arrived at Monaco Base, after receiving the results from his trustworthy captain. The BLACKJACK section of the Monaco Base’s projects, one in the archives. As he dropped off from the shuttle, the base, being gigantic, he headed straight for the archives. Here, everything was held on paper. No NeuralNet shenanigans. Typewriters, faxes, telephones, printers, and archives. Long archives. As he was searching through the catalogue, "B" — a large box of documents appeared in front of him. "BLACKJACK."

BLACKJACK was originally a secret test squadron and aggressor squadron in the early days of the Unione Corse. After a deal with a group called Fae, we received weaponry that even our scientists did not understand at the time. As time went by, we continued to receive more and more weaponry we did not produce, nor had any info on them. BLACKJACK is the answer to this. Orsini created a cell of scientists, with himself at the helm, as he himself was an ex-Doctor of Medicine, but these records were purged. He was excommunicated from the Ordre Des Médecins, but for unknown reasons — though he knew himself why. This "cell" is "dedicated to understanding the weaponry of our enemies," he said, as he opened the new wing in the research wing of Monaco Base. Door 49; Biosafety level 4. Not to be used yet — the workers had to bring the weapons brought back and stored for years now.

He unsheathed the old prototypes' analysis dossiers from the various incursions into the Omicrons by the 56th Squadron and the "Spulsione" Squadron (SOFP). Designated: "Nomad Prototype"; "Nomad Weapon (Adapted)"; and others. It was deliberately designed to fit human vessels. Allegedly extremely expensive. Only one of the many weapons from the BLACKJACK project. The point was essentially to produce a new type of weaponry; one that could be first tested on drones. After all, drones had made rare but significant appearances, why not continue to use them?

He brought back the large dossier with him, to one of the desks in the archive library. He sat down and started to browse the grey literature stored in it.

My theory is that, as this 'Nomad Weapon' is a weapon that has been essentially crudely redesigned and adapted to fit our (human) designs, as Blackjack-1 (an officially decommissioned ███████) managed to have its RWS up and running with it. We have deciphered the big data from it. Velocity, range, etc. — we cannot replicate this weapon, however, we can use it for further advancements in weapon technology. That is clear. What they learn from us, we will learn from them.."

Orsini was quite immersed until he received a call from the internal sound-powered telephone, a cold voice emanated from it: “Salute, Principal Orsini, there’s a message from someone. We decrypted it, manually typed and sent it over here, as the security protocols demand."

"Salute. Si, bring it to my desk. I will come back here later". He answered after closing the connection. He closed the block of documents and pushed it back into the archives, before heading to his office. Not until ordering one last thing on the way.

"Bring [i]Weapon Sample N°██ from the BLACKJACK Project to Door 49. This will be the key for this project. There's work to do.[/i]"
