although i m not affected by it - i "think" that when the outcast registration was introduced, it was really "only" a registration with a bit of background information ( no 3 pages ) - but only a brief explanation about what the ship is actually about. - from what i gathered ... epyon was not at all on the powertrip there but only on the "i d like to KNOW you more"- trip.

however, it turned into a mandatory registration and powertrip after some time.... but i still think it was not the primary intention... - one could say - *things just went downhill - and its no ones real fault there - it was just that everyone got upset*

resulting form that were "claims" to govern others ( like "the destroyer that is sold on malta is restricted by the direct veto of the 101st, cause its produced in their guardsystem" was a point that was simply too much. - same goes with "when you don t comply we kill you - over and over and over till you give up" - thats bullying at work and should never have been said by any official faction .... but whats done is done - and now its all dead and buried. )

i think that a faction with few members can still RP as "THE" governing faction - if they can justify their claim rightfully. furthermore, i don t have a problem with a leader with "ego" ( although i suspect its more a joke there ) - a leader would rather have too much than too little ego - or he would be "replaced".

the faction works - its not dead - but it suffers from some issues. - i would AT ONCE abandon the idea of deploying your battleships ANYWHERE but your own guard system. - ( there was a silly saying that came to my mind when i heard it..... enforcing ooRP battleships with more ooRP actions, no matter how good the intention is like "f***ing for virginity" ) - if the 101st is the dominant faction, they have the greates say off of all outcasts. - the outcasts are dominating all their "alllies" cause they supply the cardamine.

a really ruthless and powerful outcast lord would not only "ask" the rogues and hackers to deal with the NY ooRP capital ships - but he would even order them, blackmail them, force them to. why would he want to make his own hands dirty when there are dependent ones ( and rather expandable ones ) that can do the job.
