Ship class and gun stats comparison

Greetings everyone.
i had a run with the bustard and kept getting annihilated by anything bigger than a gunboat. i understand the point of the ship is for it to be weaker than other IDs but solaris turrets just dont cut it.
upon looking at the wiki, nothing makes sense, what should be class 6 end up in class 7 and so on, so it's all tupsy turvey. What i'm looking for in essence is a way to compare gun stats outside the wiki, since it's absolutely not up to date anymore. I haven't found a way to do it through FLcompanion. Anyone has insights they'r ewilling to share?
