I would recommend Darkstat as it is easy to use and no need to download anything it reads from the server directly.

Also are you having problems while fighting NPCs or players? If it is a player you might want to find a friend or two to help you train as the bustard is a unique capital ship.

What do you mean the ship is weaker then the other IDs? Do you have 10% energy on it?
