Liberty Navy 46th Fleet Security Clearance: < GRANTED >
Sender ID: Captain Samantha Brown
Recipient ID: Megan Santiago
Subject: RE: Application Response
Miss Santiago,
I am Captain Samantha Brown and I speak on behalf of Command, as ordered by Vice Admiral Maria Uhmen. I am very happy to inform you that your request to join the Forty-Sixth Fleet has been reviewed and your application has been accepted. Your interest in being a part of the Merchant Marine is of utmost value, as the Fleet currently has on-going projects that in time shall require all the help we can get. Do not forget that eager pilots are the founding columns that shape us, and always remember that you are more important than you might think.
Regardless of this interest, I am certain someone with your educational knowledge is going to be a powerful asset on our side. Ensign Ashley Graham, now working aboard the Akhetaten was no different. We picked her up straight out of the academy due to being top of her year. In fact, Graham was the top graduate we've observed over several years. One can never get too high when climbing, Santiago, remember that and you will reach great heights in your career.
You will begin your career with the Forty-Sixth as an Ensign. The Forty-sixth will teach you the proud traditions of the Liberty Navy and give you all the tools you'll ever need to become a fully capable law enforcement officer above all else. The period you will serve at this rank will also double as a probationary period so that Command can assess your suitability to the Naval lifestyle, and ensure that you're on the right path to becoming an effective officer. On proper completion of your first After-Action Report (AAR), Command will review it as well as your performance.
I needn't stress to you the importance of your actions both on-duty, and off-duty. You represent an officer of the Liberty Navy regardless if you're in space or at a bar, remember that.
Please report to our headquarters on Norfolk Shipyard as soon as you are able to. You will be given assignments and you will be familiarized with your new working space, as well as the people that make up the Fleet. I wish I could meet you there personally to give you my face-to-face greetings and congratulate you, but unfortunately due to my duties I am unable to. Rest assured that my colleagues will take good care of you. Any further details you may require will be explained to you once you reach Norfolk Shipyard.
Congratulations, Ensign, you're a part of the Fleet now.
