This is Hermann Weiss, representing Weiss Shipping.

With the recent loss of our main trading fleet in the system of Tau-44 we are hence rendered unable to further move in scale within the Sirius sector.
All the trained personnel, friends and family members, lost, slaughtered or dying in the fires and explosions of the ship reactors before imploding on them in the vacuum of space.
We only were able to find the remains of the lost trade fleet due to an independent researcher listening to the call sign of "Nihein" that spotted the remains of a Bulwark Heavy Explorer drifting within the Sumatra Cloud within the system. It took us a while to send the few members of our corporate group to get there and reclaim the remains of the space hulks along the few intact corpses we found.
A heavy damaged blackbox within the Bulwark tagged with the number "IND-BRI00013-J834 Abendrot" revealed the cause being an encounter with Outcasts not far from the Jumphole connecting Tau-44 with Tau-29.

Signing death certificates all day long along with conveying to those who lost their loved ones left us no choice, we liquidated the remaining company assets to pay for every funeral and to further help and ensure the live of the families who lost their members.
We apologise to all who lost their friends and family, it was our responsibility to ensure survival of the man and woman on each deck.

Only less than a handful of captains were on break hence escaping this tragedy. Those will be granted independent status as Weiss] Shipping will cease trade across Sirius stations and planets. The remaining personnel such as maintenance crews, office workers, public officials and so on will go planetside with me, settling on the Planet New Berlin and thus living on the surface. We were ambitious, quickly expanding yet the ikarian tale did catch up to us in the end.

Within our short span of existing as a company we realised that the Sirius Sector is inherently hostile, unreasonable and violent.
We don't wish to be the reason of more sacrifices, we don't want to see more unnecessary death.

Thus a genuine Thank you to all who had genuine business relations to us.
