Credit where it's due, you got me there. You say you worked at BMM, meaning that you certainly saw a lot more than just Gateway not getting a fair shake. With your kind of first-hand experience, it may be hard to believe, but Gateway is perhaps the sole company in Bretonia that has always kept its nose clean. It is despite that, or perhaps because of it if you're a cynic, that the Company has been treated as somehow less-than by the Crown and the major concerns within the Kingdom. Despite it all, we've been loyal subjects throughout recessions, depressions, inflation, deflation, genocide, tyranny, and all but out-and-out anarchy. Neither you nor us are in an easy position. I wasn't lying about the investors being a bit guarded, but fortunately we can shield the parent company from legal liability by subletting Caledonia's own docking bays to you. Payment wouldn't necessarily have to be in credits. If you think there's a future in that, we can talk specifics, or we can work out an alternative arrangement. We typically prefer more formal, and from what I understand, the CDI might have an easier time with less formal. If there's truly mutual benefit to be found, then surely we can thread the needle.
