Effectively immediately, The Core is to be considered disbanded.

There reasons are many, but the main one is, I lost complete interest in this mod and game, following a series of detrimental (In my opinion, ofc) , ill considered gameplay changes (personal opinion) and I stopped playing. As a result, The Core became a leaderless faction and it was doomed to die. One way or the other.

To elaborate why or how I lost interest, I'll present you my point of view.
I believe official factions should have more impact on the environment they play in, as opposed to the complete dictatorship that this mod has became. I mean, I wouldn't mind if the decisions were good. The only time Core was consulted about something, since we last became official, was about the redesign of Delta. That happened only because the person in charge of it was and still is a friend. I believe that speaks volumes. No one in the Core ever cared about AI, about the war with them, or all that sophisticated crap. What we did care was Omegas. Oh wait, we got zapped out of there overnight. Go go story team! Great job.

Anyhow, I shouldn't go into more detail, as you are all aware what a circus this place has become in the recent years. Lobbying and corruption runs deep, people are selling billions for real money, pedophiles are respected members of this community. You know who you are assholes, shame on all of you, I hate your perverted kind with passion. The staff give zero craps about them. I should know, I was in the staff. But hey, you know what they say, ignorance is a bliss.

To quote a very influential person from an unnamed dev team.
"My changes will either make this place great, or completely kill off discovery."
Guess I did the same thing, only on a smaller scale and with a single player faction.

Tl;Dr: Core| is done. I alone as a leader have failed it, that's why it's being disbanded.
It's been a good run, I regret failing my members and not being a good enough leader. Sorry guys, you deserved better
