You know, I've had plenty of heartbreaking gains in my life, but this one stings something new.

I know that when duty calls, you answer. I know that Connor had the strongest sense of honor and justice in K'Hara. The news is terrible, but not surprising, and neither is hearing that he went down protecting the life of another. That's what he went over to do the first time.

A better man than I once told me "to fall on the battlefield is to rise above it". Rest easy up there, cousin, and watch over us if you would. May your absence guide us just as much as your presence has.
