The Scarman Enigma

Los Angeles, somewhere over the capital

The Thunderhawk gunship roared as she entered the upper Los Angeles atmosphere. Her hull glowed a bright white as the intense heat built up on the navy blue paintwork. The crest of the Freedom Fighters sizzled and peeled as the stolen dropship broke through. Streaking towards the planets capital at speeds of over a thousand miles per hour, the Thunderhawk began to trail massive streamers of smoke as her hull cooled drastically in the drastically changing environment.

On board, Tyrant Marcus Scarman gripped the arms of his chair intently as the ship bucked around. He had tied down his two captives so that they werent too badly injured in the decent and had attempted to contact Sayne Jadyn. His hails had been ignored however, evoking a rage within the Tyrant that struck fear into the hearts of most. Connors remained quiet as he piloted the ship down towards the sprawled city below.
Whats our ETA, Marcus said sulkily.
Ill have us down on the landing pad in seven minutes, Connors said, not taking his eyes off the monitors before him.
Make it quick, Marcus snapped, looking away out of the window at the tunnel of dark clouds.

As the Thunderhawk finally leveled out, Marcus released himself from his entry seat and wandered into the back of the vessel. He made his way across to his captives and knelt before them. Young Heather Scarman was still deeply unconscious, the sharp blow to the head having done its job thoroughly. Victoria Wade however was groggily coming around. A line of dry crusty blood lined her forehead and her skin seemed somewhat paler since Scarecrow had taken her captive. She came around and met his gaze, her eyes still betraying her dazed state.
Yyou, She said, her voice croaky.

Tyrant Scarman grinned, taking her chin firmly in his hand. He stroked gently stroked the skin of her cheek, relishing in how smooth it felt against his rugged thumb. Victoria tried to turn away, but winced as a jolt of pain shot through her neck.
You bastard, She whispered as she let go to the pain.
Marcus grinned and pushed her head back. She opened her eyes once again and looked directly into his.
You and I are going to have some fun, The Tyrant said bitterly, You were taken away from my grasp once, it wont happen again.
