Master Caliban

I see you've developed a sense of humour, quite refreshing and a skill I encourage you to maintain.

Venus is not a name I was expecting, nor wanting to hear. Not lest of all because she is one of 'them' but because I've already met her. I was really rather hoping to avoid a repeat if it was at all possible.
Apparently it is not.

On the one hand the SIS was always a branch of the wider BIS. You also have R&D, Overseer etc. One branch closing does not mean the whole of the BIS ceases working. We were a special branch though, had a lot of close knit lads. Skirka, Hudson, Statham, Wyghtham, Grayson, Yourself of course and many, many others. Some of them transferred, most decided they were done. The War ended, most immediate threat taken care of. They're around, I certainly hope they're doing well and they can of course reach out at any time for anything, they have earnt it. But I suspect they prefer to be left to their own devices, and that is fine. I tried to take care of my people when they were in the Service, I like to think they can still call on me if they ever need it. How they live their lives afterwards is, up to them.

As for the assets, most HUMINT assets were either released, free to return to their lives if they so chose. Physical assets, like...ships or whatever were transferred over to the BIS. Likely put into the archives, storage, places like that, ready to go if the SIS branch was ever opened again.
Why do you ask? reminiscing about old times?
