I don't know. A player wipe will make people mad. For the players that have multiple characters, more than one battleship (plus weapons), its annoying and hard to build back up; for the players that like to keep with a lesser number of characters or less expensive ships, they wouldn't mind since it won't take as long. For the former, however, it is seriously unfair.

I myself wouldn't be too happy with this. There are almost undoubtedly ways around this, so I think that a total player wipe w/o compensation should only be last resort. If it puts too much stress on the admins, then I wouldn't mind, but if there is a way to avoid it, It think that we should at least try.

I'm not saying that the admins should work extra hard for everone, but rather that it should only be used if we have no other choice.

On the other hand, thought, a bunch of players rebuilding (like in the colonies) wouldn't be that bad of an idea. If we could create some form of story to go along with it, it would be relatively fun.
