I do not understand where these fears stem from. If we were interested in subjugation, we would have done it already when you were at your weakest, wouldn't you have think? No, when I founded the Technocracy, it was within interests of holding sentient life as sacred. The Gammu who work with us, do so willingly. And if I find that certain individuals are trying to corrupt the Technocracy from within, well, I do not fear drawing a sacred blade upon them. For the sake of keeping unity.
I long saw the beauty within the Gammu, they showed me the true way way back when I was but a mere Guildkeeper in the Core. And ever since, I have vowed to assist. And I cannot thank the PRIME enough for enlightening me to the truth. For putting me on the right path. And when the Technocracy formed, I did all in my power to ensure the survival of Gammu. That is why we formed the Triumvirate Pact with the Vagrants when they were still in the Omicrons... Complications, however, arose as they were exiled. But no less, their research data has been invaluable. Data, that will and have, been put to use on recovering your home, back to your people.
So you do not trust me. So be it. I stand by my vows.
The Corsairs, obviously, cannot be trusted. I feel as if I need to explain this concept time and time again.
We do not need them for eternity, they act as convenient 'distractions' while we work towards securing Gammu again. Yes, I know of their approach. Bare in mind, it is only Deterrence that hold this pact. Technically the point of the pact is surrounding us securing Gammu. They will be most useful against the Order, and the Core. I anticipate them to backstab us during our efforts to return Gammu home. But that's why we keep a few playing cards up our sleeve. That is why my deals have conditions. It is why my technology has certain assurances. And it is why we have them to 'help' with the Core.
It is possible that the Corsairs, would be more interested in their vendetta against the Core. They have not forgotten Nauru. Not to mention, back in the day, the Corsairs would ignore the Gammu entirely. It may be possible to return to that standpoint again, but it is a distant possibility. We'll see.
I do not ask of you to leave them alone entirely, but what I do is ask of you to watch them, and try not to draw too much attention to conflict if you do desire to attack them. We need their wrath and hatred guided elsewhere. Consider my efforts a... gentle nudge to put things on the right path. We cannot fight the entirety of the world, but we can bend, forge paths, to our will.
You, of course, are free to do as you please. If you are looking for some specific piece of history, do inform me so.
I can only suggest you strengthen yourselves up as the Liberation for Gammu approaches.
