The CNS Olympian was born of necessity and ambition. Conceived in 831 AS, its construction began in the heart of Crete’s northern desert, within a hollowed mountain that shielded it from prying eyes. This desolate location, stark and unforgiving, became the forge where the Corsairs sought to craft their ultimate weapon - a vessel that would redefine their presence among themselves and their enemies.

Progress was not without struggle. Alien artifacts, key to the ship’s groundbreaking design, presented unprecedented challenges. Engineers faced repeated setbacks, from integrating advanced power systems to balancing the delicate trifecta of agility, firepower, and resilience. Each obstacle threatened the project, but none deterred the Corsair resolve.

The defeat at Freeport 9, however, marked a turning point. In the wake of this humiliating loss, the Corsair leadership committed vast resources to the project, accelerating its completion. What began as a warship grew into something far more profound—a technological and cultural masterpiece.

Beneath its imposing armor, the CNS Olympian became a vessel of both power and heritage. Personally curated by her Lord Commander, Heliodorus Navarra Fabricius, the ship’s interior is a living museum of Corsair identity. Every corridor, chamber, and sanctum is adorned with priceless artifacts: tapestries depicting legendary battles, gilded statues honoring ancestors, and works of art that immortalize the Corsair spirit.

Through the sacred rite of binding, the ship took on the name of her captain, symbolizing an eternal bond between vessel and commander. While still officially “Under Development,” the now called CNS Fabricius has already transcended her status as a mere prototype. She is a bold declaration of Corsair ambition - a vessel that carries not only weapons of war but the soul of her people.

The Consul-class Battlecruiser stands as a crowning achievement of Corsair engineering, a ship designed to reign supreme in any battle. Its sweeping wings and powerful engines give it both elegance and agility, while its horned helm strikes fear into enemies and inspires awe among the Corsair clans. More than a weapon of war, the Consul is a symbol of Corsair culture, embodying their defiance and ingenuity.

Beneath its striking exterior lies a ship engineered for perfection. The expansive wings not only add to its imposing profile but also house critical systems such as hyperspace capacitors, advanced sensors, and fuel cells. These components extend its operational range and ensure its dominance in both space and atmospheric environments. Around its core, the Consul is powered by a massive engine array, combining unmatched thrust from the primary drives with the reliability of auxiliary engines, making it as swift as it is lethal.

At the front, the horned helm is both a practical and symbolic centerpiece. It houses the panoramic bridge, providing the Lord Commander and their crew with unparalleled visibility during combat, while also serving as a bold declaration of Corsair pride. Behind the helm, the main hull contains the hangar bay, a vital hub for the deployment of the Consul’s elite strike craft.

To protect this engineering marvel, the ship’s shielding systems are second to none. At the top of the hull, the main shield intake powers emitters that project a near-impenetrable energy barrier, with power output only rivaled by the heaviest dreadnoughts. The underside of the ship is equally well-equipped, with retrothrusters providing enhanced maneuverability in planetary atmospheres or high-gravity conditions.
