Señor Voncloud, I find myself both relieved and irritated by your message. Relieved, because you are alive and well. Irritated, because of the audacity of the situation you describe. That you are on Cadiz, treated as a "guest" by the Black Sails, a rabble with no authority over Cadiz, is an insult not just to the Brotherhood, but to the Imperio itself. The Black Sails are operating outside the bounds of Corsair law. They have no right to hold you, no matter how comfortable your quarters may be or how fine their tea might taste. This farce will end. I have given them an ultimatum, and they have less than 20 hours to comply. You will be delivered to Battleship Prox, where you will remain until you wish to leave, under the protection of the Empire. The Theta Treaty is not a topic for negotiation, least of all with traitors and opportunists like the Black Sails. They have already proven their disdain for the Imperio by attacking those under its protection. Their actions mark them as traitors, and traitors do not sit at the table with us. Perhaps, in the future, there could be talks with the Phoenix Zoners or others who hold valuable insights into the Omicrons. Unlike the Sails, Phoenix might actually have some interesting insights in the situation. Do not mistake me, Voncloud. I respect the courage it takes to propose diplomacy in the face of such chaos. But diplomacy is reserved for those who uphold their honor and respect the authority of the Brotherhood, Deterrence and the Council of Elders . The Black Sails proven themselves beneath that respect. Prepare yourself to leave Cadiz. I expect to see you at Battleship Prox soon, under my watchful eye. Tell the Black Sails that they still have one final chance to show some semblance of loyalty, and follow the path of redemption.
