War. The bane of humankind. It brings pain, suffering, power and money. The reason why we exist, to fight wars among ourselves. I have sworn to never be a part of one, yet, here I am. A piece on a large board of chess. The Technocracy, the Gammu, the Core, the Order, the Corsairs, the Outcasts, the Zoners. An invisible hand controlling us, moving us step by step forward until we collide. Am I really ready for this?

The thought came to mind to just run away. Me and my wife, our ships and those that stand by our side. But where would we go? Can I really fight the war of another? Leviathan. You are not making it easy, I hope you know that. I was a pacifist, then I met you and the others and everything went completely different. I hate you. (I actually don't but, don't tell yourself.) I thought a lot about it. War. What it will do to me. Will I remember myself after it? Will it change me? If so, how will it change me? Why do we need to wage war in the first place? Humanity will never learn, will it. In the end it is all just business. War makes money, and money is what everyone wants. Except me and Amy.

Nomads. AI. Humans. In the end, we are all the same. We do everything we can to make ourselves profit. Actually, there is one difference. At least we kill for a reason, no matter how stupid it is. They don't. They are monsters. I will let the past be the past, for now. But I will never stop killing them.

I will survive, just as I promised it to you. My beloved Amy. Our bond is unbreakable, no matter what happens. Well, that's it for now. Back to training and lurking in Theta. I need to be prepared for the worst. Naomi. Remember who you are. Always. No matter what happens.
