Analytics concurs with Commander Morreti. As stated in our own initial report on the anomaly, our measurements indicate that the anomaly's beam may intercept the Coronado system. Of course, an error of even a fraction of a degree may result in it passing the system by a light year or more. The very nature of the anomaly makes it all but impossible to take precise measurements, much less come to any certain conclusions. You should pursue any hypotheses your own data support.

As for further excavations on the planet itself: While the Order frequently conducts excavations of potential alien sites and possesses the required equipment, it typically does so with the assistance and expertise of third parties. Third parties that, at the current time, we do not intend to involve in the Sudbury anomaly's study. Not to mention that ferrying the required equipment and personnel to the Ontario system would pose far too great a risk under the current circumstances.

The anomaly's study will have to carry on with what limited means we currently have at our disposal.
