The Archangel had her first proper combat action two days ago. The Titania and Archangel jumped into Delta. We engaged silent-running and set course towards the Freeport. Upon arrival, several ships were present. There was a corrupted AI drone sporting a Core IFF, one of the Noth mercenaries, Revenant was there, Civil Servant and several Gammu drones. We were observing the situation and listening in. Seemingly they attempted to 'convert' the corrupted drone? I am not really sure myself what they tried to do.

After a while several more Core ships appeared. Three Thresher-class destroyers and two snub craft. The moment they appeared they were instantly hostile. The snub craft jumped on Revenant while the Cruisers engaged one of the larger AI vessels, taking several pot-shots at Revenants ship. We were ready. Amy asked me if we should pounce and I agreed. The Titania and Archangel uncloaked and opened fire upon the Core vessels.

The Archangel did her job, screening Titania with it's superior suppression power. The Core ships tried to close the gap. Thanks to the Particle Accelerators and the Harpoon Missiles, we kept them at range, unable to bring any significant firepower to bare. Thanks to that, the Titania managed to use it's main battery to completely annihilate them.

They decided to attack us. They had plenty of opportunities to withdraw. We had no intention to chase them. They decided to stay and try to destroy us. They tried to kill us. Revenant almost died there, but we saved her. We won.
