> "It's been some time since I've even worked on developing a variant for these engines, I've had to somehow blend in a work of my previous life along with what available resources we have. Had to make compromises in the areas to suit the needs of the Bundschuh as a local fabrication is hard to maintain but we have at least some capability. I've had to speak to the dock master and they've actually agreed to the work, I owe them quite a lot for the work they've done for our capital assets and I think its about time we got to supporting the mass paramilitary engineering.

Modular Nuclear Pulse engine

I could be spending more time on this but with so many projects going on, I've had to leave this report for the Dockmaster to work with. Engineering and procurement teams are finally getting to grips with manufacturing more than just fighter weapons and we've had to ramp up an increase on our ability to field equipment of varying kinds.... Although this has presented an issue for people who aren't familiar. This document that I've produced should outline the two major projects we've been working on. Our main priority is to try and get our heavy capital ship assets back to full power. As much as we're able to field a decent amount of resistance with out lighter assets... Its shown with combat against the Corsairs and heavy corporate assets that we need both the Von Claussen and the Klaxon at their full potential. But this has also trickled into other ship lines too and we're already seeing some engineers query about this being adapted for smaller vessels... I think this investment will likely play off in the long run.

Power plant and Propulsion

Saverne and Tennsdedt have been in close contact with eachother. Their engineering capability is a huge contribution towards the service of the Platform and greater Bundschuh. The recovery of the XU-001 and its HTTB and heavy HNP variants has provided important reference and insight into previous works and a much needed compliment to the design deviations of for-profit engineering. Saverne and Tennsdedt finally came to an agreement to look at developing technologies towards supplementing the Platform and Bundschuh's arsenal from things like Engines, Weapons and potentially even the fabrication of spacecraft of a domestic design... Most of these are for future plans. Although one seems to be getting closer to reality than any other.

We've been at work developing a series of new power plants and engine systems to better suit the highly mobile needs of the Platform and Bundschuh, our ships work around the clock and an active rotation on the vessels means that we need to minimise downtime on these ships as much as possible. Engineers on Saverne are looking at getting a few vessels equipped with their developed "Modular Nuclear Pulse" engine system built off a modified variant of the Civil War Federalist engine systems, the "Hybrid Nuclear Pulse". This federalist design has seen a prolific spread since the the ceasefire as a state-designed system was quietly snuffed from Imperial adoption.

MNP-ASM-"Nightfire"
This has been headache for Saverne's, engineering contacts on Wichter station and the hardware inclined eccentrics on Tennsdedt. This Monument class vessel is still an excellent combat frame to provide fire support for the Platform, but meets issues when being powered using Rheinland accustomed H-fuel variants and they find that their reactor doesn't work to well with our local hardware either. so this has been something for me to work on and understand the field of Libetrtonian military systems although its like taking a look at museum... I try to keep curiosity of 'systems pushed to the limit' not to worry commander Howe and the Klaxon can't avoid destroying what headroom they have.

There are a majority of offensive, defensive and mechanical systems that still rely on specific outputs from Liberty type reactors. We've tried to contact the Lane Hackers about obtaining power regulators for her special equipment and their issues at tying to obtain HPNP fuel injectors have come with turbulent results, for the long term deployment of the Klaxon, it will not be able to rely on a full Libertonian design anymore. The crew and people of the Black Flame has been quite insistent on making sure their vessel downtime remains minimal as possible to ensure that life support and crew necessities are not interrupted. But Its already becoming commander Howe's concern that the containment layers are deteriorating, resulting in a life threatening radiation risk to their own crew during regular use. This is no good.

So the solution? We've had teams that were able to volunteer on its development and construction prepare a functioning prototype for rapid installation. Engineers on Saverne & Bielefeld, researchers from Tennsdedt and even repair teams from the Klaxon itself have been collaborating on constructing a 'Rapid-fit' plan to berth the vessel and swap its reactor and power systems over as fast as possible to replace the ageing behemoth.

MNP Type-HF/LF/Bm/Fr/Gs/Tr/Ca
Without a doubt the easiest ones to tackle were the development of the light ship designs. Thankfully the major functionality of the MNP is still close to its VP/HNP family that the component surplus from salvaging, refurbishment and fabrication have allowed us to ensure a stable line supply, distribution and rotation to our refit and maintenance facilities on our stations. We've been able to grade-bin components that go to fleet rotations or get sold to support the civilian ship purchases. We've thankfully been able to retain the covert signature, efficiency and extended operating reliability of the HNP engines that will favor trust to the pilots who rely on these machines to not give in mid-operation.

Whilst the fighter and heavier snub-craft variants will see the largest portion of our lines to see some field replacements to augment our guerrilla wings, but will likely see this hitting our smuggling fleets for use of ensuring sensitive cargo lessens the chance of meeting trouble along the way, either via malfunctions or a shortage of fuel that would see our ships dead in the Void. The engines were also developed in collaboration with Saverne's engineering and mechanic teams to extensively study their repair workflow and understand hindrances that they meet from minor accessibility issues or major failure points found on total losses. We needed to ensure that if things did fail, that we weren't going to see delays from avoidable practices while units are down and fickle-work and delicacy isn't always required. ALG have also been able to work with us in the salvaging region to obtain parts and components along with access to Wichter for refit to our larger vessels and access to their tooling and shipyards really helps in maintenance practice... You can hardly get anything done without a drydock these days and having preferential access to components that most others won't find on the black market really improves our situation for fabricating these systems.

> "The Modular Nuclear Pulse engine is an underground adaptation to a federal state-design, a result of trickled down designs and designers into the engineering power of the Bundschuh arsenal following the Rheinland Civil War. Rather than take the extreme operating demands and tolerances of the HNP series of engines, engineers took into account the conditions of Bundschuh capability to sustain the assets and learnt from the compromise from the high-waste maintenance and bad service practices of their modular Daumann VP counterparts. The MNP is a series fit for rotational crew spacecraft which rarely see a power down helps it sustain excellent efficiency and reliability, low detectable emissions, helps the ultra-mobile guerrilla doctrine of the Bundschuh."
