Character's short story: >He was a Zoner, born and raised in the inner Omicrons who spent most of his childhood on passenger liners and transports. So, he quickly learned the ins and outs of piloting and travelled all throughout Sirius doing the odd job under the alias "Vermilion". Having witnessed the aftermath of the Battle of Minor at a young age, he was very aware of the existential threat posed to humanity by the Nomads. After the very recent Nomad invasion in Zeta, he heard the horror stories of the Zoner captains who were called-in to evacuate Capetown station. This solidified his resolve, and he wanted to use his skills for more grander, selfless purpose in hopes of protecting fellow humans.
So today, he seeks out the Eclipse Vanguard of the Order Overwatch knowing that they are the bastion of humanity's future in this unforgiving galaxy.<
