Massimo lights up a cigar and carefully listens to Burton as he addresses Voncloud. He was surprised of his rational approach, as he expected him to reply to Voncloud in a similar manner. But at the end of the line it was all about facts and a difference of opinions. Voncloud also plays it smart, as he knows that Deterrence is his only chance of getting back his precious planet. But, here is where the shit starts, one man's greed combined with a powerful and desperate Corsair fleet in need of results. Massimo has felt on his own skin how Deterrence and the Brotherhood do business. Do or die, no flexibility at all. The Zoners did indeed needed a warning, but these fools are waving their cojones more than they should. Unfortunately, we're here to see them fail.

As Burton finished sharing his thoughts, Massimo leans down on his chair and turns his sight towards Voncloud: Signor Voncloud, since both me and signor Burton do not wish to see you submissive as you're used to lately, I shall send you home, I'm certain you're knee-sick by now. And next time we meet, be smart. Massimo then winks to the guard who came in rush moments ago, who escorts Voncloud. As they leave, Massimo makes a final remark. Oh, Jerard, since I like you, allow me to offer you a parting gift. The ship we'll charter will take you to Curacao. It seems your nerves could use some relaxation in the tropics.

With that out of the way, the real talks are about to commence. He then leans on the table and addresses Burton directly: Signor, here how it looks. Omicron Theta is a grim show of stupidity that we wish to end. The Black Sails are displeased with the actions of the Deterrence and Brotherhood against Pygar and Corfu. Not because we love Zoners and hate Corsairs as they do, but because the Black Sails fail to see any fruitful outcome out of their endeavor. Your staunch resistence made them look like the bunch of fools they are, and they will stop at nothing to see you fall. Here is where we come in.

Massimo then leans back on the chair as he continues to address Burton: The Black Sails's goal is to prevent any further loss of lives, resources and stature, and we shall do so by deterring the Deterrence and Brotherhood from their hostilities against Pygar and Corfu. To do so we will require logistics support from Phoenix so we can launch operations against them and the Zoners that support them.

Massimo then leans back on the table, fixates his look for a moment on his cigar, What say you, signor Burton? then raises his sight towards him.
