Log Entry:FULL THROTTLE The AI, a missing girl and the storm
Yep, it's me again. Days go by but the excitement never vanishes. Two days ago we have given the Core another devastating blow in Omicron Delta. We've destroyed several snubcraft and gunships of these terrorists and slavers. Sadly, two or three AI vessels were lost. I really hope our little friends are alright. I do hope that their planet isn't the end. We should just evaporate Nauru at this point. One less pest in the Omicrons to deal with. They are no worth the oxygen they are breathing.
Rant over. The Doc appeared yesterday in Delta. She was in a rush. Apparently Maya, the girl I helped saving some months ago, went after the nomad that tortured her. Stupid girl, why does she do such things without backup? She knows she could have just asked. But then again, revenge is a really potent driving factor, I know it too well. I couldn't just stand idle when the doc told me that her signal vanished in Tau-37. We opened a rift there and jumped. Of course, I kind of went against my orders and left my AO. I was a bit worried that Amy would be angry but it seems that I have learned from the best. She told me she would have done the same.
Inside the system we flew to the ice cloud on the Outcast side of the system. It was rather dangerous, scanners were halved. We stayed there for around an hour or two. Amy joined us but the signal was already gone. Maya was gone, no sign of her. There is only so many options. Either she is dead. She was captured by the nomad or captured by the Outcasts. And if not, then her escape pod is going to run out of oxygen in around twenty-four hours. The doc is going to contact us when she finds something. We had to leave and return to the Omicrons. I hope she is alright, I really do.
This is it. The silence before the storm. I know the Core is going to hit us back sooner or later. They definitely will. I've also seen a name I've not seen for several years now. Cherry remembers. Naomi does too. Stormclaw.
