Esteemed DSE representatives,

I am reaching out regarding the recent acquisition of a Longhorn, which my delegates formalized with you a few days ago. I trust that the transaction, including the transfer of funds, was completed seamlessly.

I consider it somewhat impersonal to leave such matters entirely in the hands of bureaucrats, and so I wished to take this opportunity to personally introduce myself. My name is David Farina, and I have the honor of commanding the OS&C|TE-Svalbard. After years onboard our Democritus, I've realized that our old, faithful journey companion wasn't suitabile anymore for her task. Sirius is now more unsafe than ever, and the Democritus to fragile to withstand the menaces that lurks in the dark corners of every Houses, not mentioning what's hiding outside of them. Therefore, my crew and I require a vessel capable of venturing into the most remote and potentially hazardous regions of the Sector with full autonomy and security. Following a brief discussion with our director, Mme Cross, we elected to place our trust in your esteemed craftmanship, long renowned for its commitment to durability and engineering excellence.

Beyond this introduction, I would also appreciate some further clarification regarding our new vessel:

• Interiors: Your technicians have assured us of the modular nature of both the cargo hold and living quarters. Would it be possible to optimize the available space to accommodate four OS&C luxury modular cabins (each measuring 40x40x4 meters, stackable if necessary)?
  
• Armament: While we have no inclination toward conflict, safeguarding the vessel and its crew remains paramount. We seek a defensive armament suite capable of ensuring our security against threats up to gunboat-class vessels. What configuration would you deem most suitable for this purpose?
  
• Collaboration: If there is any way we might assist in the construction process, do let us know. We have reserve transports at our disposal and would be more than willing to facilitate the delivery of any materials or components that might expedite completion.
  
• Timeline: might you provide an estimate as to when the vessel will be ready for launch?
