The two Battleships in Liberty are there for dealing with a Battleship and two Destroyers, and if said don't surface by Friday the operational plans call for the two Battleships to be moved back to Alpha. Read the diplomatic request for short-term docking rights next time, please, it says short term. Bombers are preferable, of course, but we'd need six or seven bombers down in Liberty for the purpose of destroying a battlegroup that size in a reasonable time frame. Hence the battleships. Mobilizing six bombers on a half-hour trip to Liberty is a difficult thing to do; six people is usually the most one can expect to get on at any one time. Hence all it takes are two people in Battleships to deal with the threat. Believe me, I didn't like deploying them either, I have Corsairs to kill, but it was the most expedient and least expensive of the options available.

it takes a maximum of 3-4 bombers to take down x number of caps. and look on the bright side. you even have access to the inferno, the best weapon you could use to strip shields, and the supernova, the best weapon to hurt hull. if a single bomber and a single fighter can kill 2 cruisers and make a carrier with a cap mk 7 run with no b/b and 5% hull, 4 bombers with said setup will induce more hurt and pwnage than chuck frikin norris with an RPG, facing the germans in WW II.

And any time somebody tells us to go raid Gamma instead of hunting down OoRP capital ships, I have a question I'd like them to ask themselves: "Why would the 101st want to fly into a system where they will probably be outnumbered, and up against a force made up of largely (A) Praetorian bombers, which are too effective against fighters, or (B) Capital ships, making our fighter-friendly forces innefective?" And next time you decide to tell us to go raid Gamma instead of hunting down the OoRP capships, ask yourself why we're hunting them down in the first place? If it were me I'd just shoot down a Destroyer or Dreadnought every time I saw one misbehaving or refusing to acknowledge our authority, but instead I spend hours doing this Capship Registration thing to try and present a more user-friendly 101st, so that we can help people learn to RP their caps properly. I mean, certainly, if people want us to we can go back to the pre-Cap-Reg 101st where we just shot the OoRP capships, or even the pre-Eppy 101st where the 101st where never actually seen online...

the registration should be a fun RP method to get more people onto the forums, and RP. not a way to ruthlessly make a person (who didnt incidentally fill in a registration thing) feel like leaving the game, by killing him/her, or banishing him/her everytime he/she logs on.

People continuously tell me "RECRUIT PEOPLE WITH STRONG ARPEE, EPPY!!!11" So, my question is, where the hell are they? Everybody in the squadron scouts for people with the potential for good RP, and you know what? They're really, really hard to find these days. All it takes is to write a couple of paragraphs in a biography and demonstrate a relatively good history and you're in. We can't even find that anymore.

These people are leaving your faction for others, or even just to fly as independants due to your method of controlling/playing. you know why i left the 101st. sorry to say, the 101st isnt what it used to be, and im rapidly losing the level of respect it commanded before. Unselie is right, and you saying such things, kinda proves many points mentioned here.

This isn't intended to come across as a flame of any type eppy, but your epic stubbornness will obviously see it as such. for that reason, im making it clear, this isnt a flame.
