I understand your concerns regarding the structural layout.

You may be new to how space construction works, so let me enlighten you, Oberrätin von Bommel.

The inner layout has to be prioritised first. This way we can ensure the structural and functional integrity of the station, which should have taken seven days, as per our contract. I can confirm that all the necessary buildings in the station (the storage docks, the inmate processing centre, and the goods production factory) are up and ready for use.

However, the outer layer, composed mainly of hull panels, needs more time to be produced and built onto the station. Thus, the outer layout will take more time.

Regarding the leveling of the station, nothing was mentioned in our contract regarding that part. Thus, any penalties related to that will be considered an abuse from your end.

As for the delay in the delivery of the station, you find me deeply sorry about that. Our company has faced strikes on the construction site, which were quickly dealt with, but was one of the reason why we could not meet the delay that you have asked for.

On the other hand, the other reason of the delay is the poor security the Kaiserreichspolizei Rheinland provided around the station. During its deliveries, the Holstein was attacked by two Hessian cruisers, and not a single ship was to be seen until our transport was almost torn apart. More than that, the only pilot that was dispatched showed restraint, when our ship was clearly in danger. Thus, I believe the penalties you have mentioned should not apply, because of your failure to provide a secure space for our pilots.

Do not get me wrong: space is a dangerous place, and our pilots are trained to face such situations. However, throwing us the stone for not meeting the delay when your duty to secure Rheinland space was not fulfilled, is as unfair as it is low.

As promised, I keep you updated on the delivery: we are finishing up the administrative offices, so the station should be fully ready in around 48 hours. Outer layer will be provided as soon as possible.
