I expect this transmission to not reach you in time. The date of me writing this is February Eighteenth, year Eight Hundred and Thirty Five After Settlement, Fourteen o'clock.

The survey of Sudbury's subsurface area, while interesting for purposes academic, was completely irrelevant to the case overall. However, I could safely deduce that the installation does indeed draw the power from the planetary core. With the interference emitted by the installation, the "hows" and "whys" will remain a mystery, at least for me and all the humble tools that I have at my disposal.

As for the source of this signal. I couldn't find any leads in Coronado or other charted worlds of the Barrier nebula. Moreover, the visible ray's azimuth still persists in the direction of the Dark Matter Storm. On a hunch, I addressed outdated charts in hopes of finding a system that once was known to be north of Ontario, one that got enveloped by a Dark Matter Storm. Other than Kepler, there was one more - Alberta.

I have already relocated to Ames. You need not warn me about the dangers, nor will I need rescue.
