Well, I thought I would go for a tour to the Kusari systems today, but no sooner than I hit Kyushu, but I had a most interesting encounter.
A former freelancer who has started to work for OS&C. Seems to run a rather weird party-bus mystery-tour service. This wasn't what caught my attention, however. This pilot reported to me that they were an anomaly researcher who had been caught inside some form of gravitational instability that had a temporal side-effect.
Eh... Do I have to use these big words? Whatever! Apparently he spent 3 months inside, but when he got out, it was 3 years later.
Point is, this anomaly is purported to be in the Taus somewhere, if it hasn't collapsed.
I know the Starfliers have research ships that study such things. I also know that some of these traverse the Taus, this could be something to look into.
After discussing things with the pilot, I accompanied him to Planet New London, where I encountered a friendly trader from Atomic Movers Inc. They are apparently a small logistics company based out of Liberty. While many pilots are polite, I took note of the fact that this one was not just polite, but friendly.
Worth mentioning in case we need something moved about, but our own transports can't handle it.
Finally, I ended this journey at Planet Cambridge. I had planned to head out to the Omegas, but a civilian ship had a minor mishap. I managed to recover the pilot's escape pod and immediately requested docking rights.
I will be stuck here for a while as I fill out paperwork, I swear these Brettonians live by bureaucracy.
