Your message caused a few sighs of relief here, worries about the project derailing into political turmoil were certain. We are relieved to know that Ionic Incorporated is on the same page with us and similarly to Samura Heavy Industries understands this project as more important than any battle over potential market shares. Further we are glad to know Kishiro Technologies and its most promising subsidiaries continue to impress and are ready to deliver even when facing unusual tasks on short-term notice.

As you correctly pointed out, the IKN-Reiwa is one-of-a-kind. This circumstance exists purely over the successful - admittedly lengthy - initial negotiations with Samura Heavy Industries to permit such extensive customizations in the first place. I can assure you that they were less than thrilled to know that Naval Forces and KOI personnel will effectively turn the vessel upside down, however they agreed to a sales contract permitting for "amendments to the vessel in any fashion the Imperial Diet sees fit, through any required means". Ionic Incorporated therefore does not need to bother with any legal implications otherwise held by the Kure engineering team providing your team with full access to the required schematics and details about the vessel.

The project overseer has already been informed about this development and will arrange for the work permits of your personnel at Kure Drydocks for the duration of the installation. This leaves but one topic for us: Adequate means of compensation. Whilst the Prime Ministry drafted a cost plan already, we would prefer to hear the sum considered just by Ionic Incorporated first.
