Attention, Officers and Crews of the Main Fleet,
In these turbulent times, when our Union faces external threats and internal challenges alike, the strength of Gallia rests upon the discipline and resolve of its Navy - of you, the men and women who carry our flag into battle.
Today, I officially confirm that the freshly promoted Commandant Théo Napoléon has assumed the command of the Flotte Principale - our Main Fleet, or conventional forces.
This is not a reward. It is a responsibility earned on the field, in the fires of the Hebrides and Zurich-Cologne campaigns, where Commandant Napoléon led by example - and where many of you served under his command, knowing his caliber and his flagship the [GN]GNS-Valor firsthand.
With his leadership, our forces secured vital ground in Zurich and Cologne, safeguarded the arteries of commerce, and held fast against the enemies of the Union in the Tau regions, from Bretonian interlopers to Outcast raiders.
Make no mistake: there are hard days ahead.
We must hold the Zurich-Cologne Highway and ensure the uninterrupted flow of resources from Rheinland.
We must secure the Hebrides - the Sirian called "Taus" - and deny them to pirates, terrorists, and Sirian vultures.
And we will stand ready to confront any who threaten Gallia's interests - whether they fly the colors of Bretonia, Outcasts, Maquis or others who dare oppose us.
The Security Bureau and Gendarmerie will continue their roles - but out here, beyond the Core Worlds, it is the Main Fleet of the Gallic Navy that stands as the first and last line of defense.
Remember this: nothing is given in Gallia - everything is earned. Commandant Napoléon has earned his place, just as each of you earns yours with every patrol, every engagement, every sacrifice.
Under his leadership, we will not falter. We will not retreat. Gallia’s fleets move forward - always.
