PART TWO: THE ENGINE

Loud footsteps are heard outside the door, almost as if the person on the other side were stamping their feet without moving. This continues for a few seconds before the door slides open, Halpert races in.

"Albert you lunatic, guess what I got!"

"What is it this time?"

A couple buttons are pressed, showing a scan of a Kali Light Fighter with text stating "Docking Bay 2".

"My ship beats the shit out of whatever the Vector is supposed to be."

"How so?"

"Let's just say that the Pulsar fucking moves now. New engine, thanks to those people at Valley Forge."

"New engine? This is indeed new information."

Halpert sighs.

"I'm sticking with the Pulsar, no way you can get a Freighter to cruise at one thousand meters a second. Eat my dust, Albert."

He races out of the room, with lighter footsteps to match his movement down the hall. The door closes and after 30 seconds, the text alongside the hologram updated to "Launched."

"I will stop trying to work with him on this. It's tiresome..."

Preparations are then made by Albert to visit Deep Space Engineering to approve the first couple Vector builds. The entire journey to realize the Vector is nearing it's end. Soon Sirius will be greeted with the a brand new ship, one the Starfliers are proud of. A thought crosses Albert's mind to inform Leon on Curacao, though this is short lived as other matters need attention.
