Well for me it goes deeper, My main character is me, I'm out there flying. Yes I understand that may not be true roleplay but it allows me to live in Sirius for a time, around the time 4.85 came out I was when I was ill and spent a lot of time in bed. My best memories were freelancer. So obviously I can live without it but so many games now custom skins and personal avatars are a big thing.
