I have read your reports and forwarded them to our own analytics team. Your reports are proving to be invaluable to our understanding of the Sudbury anomaly. As such, command commends you for your hard work.
Given your findings, Analytics is inclined to agree with you that Tau-61 makes for a good candidate for the beam's destination, though they're unwilling to rule out Coronado as of yet. We'll have to continue to investigate and monitor the Sudbury anomaly and related points of interest.
However, the upcoming strike against the Wyoming takes priority. With that limping hulk of infested scrap out of the way, the Atum and its complement will be able to focus on securing the Sudbury perimeter, allowing for more in-depth research. Unfortunately, our liaison on Fort Ramsey has indicated that the Free Republic will not aid us in taking out the Wyoming. As such, Section 8 will have to redeploy its own assets from the Sudbury perimeter to reinforce the Atum's strike force, leaving the planet effectively unmonitored for the duration. It's not an ideal situation, but the potential rewards outweigh the risks.
For now, you and your men should get some rest. There's much to be done and we all need to be fit to do it.
