ffs —this event had it all: suicide squadrons, shotgun campers, lots of laughs, and people losing their shit. Plus, the experience and analysis of the tactics used and the game's mechanics—maybe I even learned a thing or two.
The only negative experience I had was encountering the same issue I faced in Kappa. On two of my runs, I couldn't see any enemy ships—only exploding ordnance and some random shooting, must be some network package related thing or something like that, idk. It seems like it takes a considerable amount of time to load when you're a +270 ping player and the server have +80 people connected. I can't really blame the server, though; it works fine as long as you take your time flying to the objective or rally waypoint instead of going full cruise.
Congrats to all the gamers and the organization out there for the good shooting.
8/10 (including the aftermath memes.)
