Character's short story:Piloting ships runs in family, my dad is a retired LSF, and i'm currently a freelancer doing mostly trades on the lawless worlds and edge worlds, its tough cuz danger is everywhere but they need the ressources and pay well.
During my "transport routine" of copper for Fort Carthage, something that will haunt my days, Seconds after arriving at Omicron Mu a fellow freelancer was fighting against those Aliens called "Nomads", dad told me stories about them, but to be able to see them close, i couldn't believe it ! I sent a distress signals hoping we will get some helps, but he got shot down the minute after then they shift on my direction started to chase me ! Trying to Fly away , they Interupted my cruising mode, i have to fight not against pirates for my money or my cargo, but against aliens for my life ! i could bring down 2 of them but they were very hard to aim ... too fast, my shields went down, and my hull was taking severe damages. I thought this was the end and closed my eyes accepting my fate, but at this moment i heard shots and the rest of them got destroyed, and my saviors ?
A squad of 3 Order members from the Eclipse Vanguard who got the distress signal i sent moments ago when they were attacking the unlucky Freelancer, i was lucky they were in the sector, they escorted me to Fort Carthage where i could receive medical treatment and took care of my ship.
The next day after the incident, one of them came to me :
"Hi, i hope you feel better, listen, i'll be straight to the point, what you did there, nobody could destroy those high speed nomads vessels in a transport ship, but you did, you have hidden talents and the crew here seems to know you since you supplying us with copper, so i'm asking you this : would you join us? pilots like you would be a great help against the Nomads insurgency, our offices for recruitement are over there, i'll let you think about it, get well soon.
After thinking it through, maybe i'll give it a shot, they saved my life after all, so i went to the recrutement office and filled the forms to enroll in the Eclipse Vanguard.
What made you interested and why do you want to join E\V/: i was always attracted to the Order faction story and lores since the Solo campain, having a continuous story there would be awesome
