Three days after the Brigand ambush, the Orion.Majestic drifted silently through the dense corridors of the Verrier Cloud, near the jump gate to Champagne. Electromagnetic interference danced across its silver hull like living shadows. Through that muffled silence, a distress call broke through.

It was the GMS|Glory.Monrovia — the behemoth of Gallic Metal Service, hauling thousands of tons of Molybdenum Ore. A localized gravitational anomaly had knocked it off course. Stabilizers were failing.

03:25 GST – Silent Intervention
Without hesitation, Captain Ilse Reinhardt diverted the Orion.Majestic. Though never meant as a tow vessel, the liner approached with precise elegance and activated high-resolution gravitic projectors. Without ever touching the barge, she brought it back onto a safe trajectory — a maneuver few would attempt, and fewer still could achieve.

Just as the Monrovia began stabilizing, sensors picked up movement. Shapes emerged from the mist — angular, fast: Unione Corse, drawn by the scent of valuable cargo.

The barge, massive and sluggish, could not escape.

04:00 GST – An Unlikely Alliance
Reinhardt rerouted power to shields and positioned the liner between the attackers and the barge. The Orion.Majestic became a living shield. Meanwhile, the Monrovia’s crew jury-rigged their industrial drones — asteroid clearance bots repurposed into kinetic defense systems.

For the first time, a luxury liner and a commercial titan fought side by side.
Countermeasures from the liner orbited like golden butterflies, confusing Corsican missiles, while the barge’s makeshift drones discharged seismic bursts with shocking effect.

04:15 GST – Reinforcements and Retreat
When it all seemed lost, a Royal Navy patrol wing arrived. The Corsicans scattered. One remained — a last-ditch ramming attempt — but was caught in the Monrovia’s grav well and flung into a swirling EM vortex.

Silence returned.

05:00 GST – A Gift Etched in Legacy
Exiting the Verrier Cloud, Reinhardt hailed the GMS crew. But instead of ceremony, she offered a symbol: a crystal bottle from a rare Rheinland distillery, etched with the Spa & Cruise insignia and Lord d’Artois’ seal.

“This is not just a souvenir,” she said.
“It’s a reminder that luxury and labor sail the same sky. And sometimes, they save the same lives.”

07:30 GST – Arrival at Champagne
When the Glory.Monrovia jumped into Champagne near Planet Marne, escorted by the Orion.Majestic, the tale spread fast.

The image of a pleasure liner shielding an industrial giant became a symbol. In Versailles boardrooms and GMS logistics halls alike, a new respect was born.

And on everyone's lips, a single quote remained:
