My 2 cents:
- I would assume the team has reviewed the VRs submitted and then did a thorough research - IP and Account tracking (that were not disclosed) before voting for this sanction
- I would assume the team has taken into consideration all aspects - Morts veterancy, his contribution to the community and the severity of the shenanigans
The message was clear for all players, tho some only cherry picked and focused on RP: If you know the rules, no matter how much of a veteran you are or your input to the community (with some exceptions obviously, and I'm not talking about DTR), if you fuck up hard enough, you will get slapped.
Cause: I do like Mort, I have nothing against the man, but from the message in the sanction its clear: you behaved in an unproductive manner, some might say toxic, for a player of your caliber. Some players were harmed and frankly, aiming downskill in PVP is something that should be beneath a whole lot of players in this community, not to mention trying to hide it via ship deletion. Sorry.
- Staff feedback:
- Some more transparency into the evidence - when requested you provide only the VR submitted by the players via reports. Censoring the IP / ship names and providing the logs as evidence would help alleviate the situation. The 2nd part of the sanction about ship deletion would not exist without such logs.
- Add some more words when passing Sanctions; making the transgression clear, the causes for the severity of the sanction - if applicable ofc.
