Bro, it's a camera ship and not a combat vessel, lol
Some people need to learn to grow up and not behave like little children, then the harmony among the players would also be better, or better said: the "community" that wants to get at each other...
And btw nepo, You could also learn to behave like an adult, but apparently a one-month break wasn't enough for you it seems?
I think it all depends on who is salty enough to report this. Rules are rules, but a camera ship, imo, is not something that is a part of RP.
Regardless of it being a combat vessel or not, or even a part of RP environment, the rule clearly states that if you die in PvP, you have no business in that system for the next hour.
But again, in the end, if it does not hinder the ongoing battle or anything similar, it solely depends on the person who would want to report that.
Just for clarification about the DTR camera ships: In the past, it happened several times that PVP dead players came back to our fleet fight just to watch, which prompted some negative feedback and complains from the community. Or they asked in our voice chat for someone to stream, which is kinda difficult when you are actively engaged. As a response to that issue, I created a number of camera ships placed in the most used locations, so that people that die early in our fleet fights can watch the remaining fight without breaking the rules. Camera ships with a recruit ID do not exist inRP and can be used for that purpose even if you are PVP dead. That is a fact, not a personal opinion. That now our usual haters claim that we have them for reporting is certainly not true, but everybody is entitled to their own beliefs. Also if DTR got so many reports as some people pointed out here and (almost) none of them led to a sanction, maybe that says more about the bitterness of the reporters rather than DTR.
Anyways, I believe that thread went miles off topic again...
