yea - but punishing harshly could be described as:

child plays with fire and throws glowing splinters at passers by...... you hit it HARD yelling at it about how BAD it is.

the child won t do it again - but maybe he ll do the same when he has a child.

( sorry, i just don t like the example much - the educational example is lacking, cause it can be bend into the opposite that creates an even worse result )

i think that 7 days is no big deal .. IF the sanction is just. - what i d like to see is people always talking to the culprit before they go and write a report. - some people are not seeing reason. - but some might. - it is NOT supported by the team to do that - sort of...

as it is supported to log of quitely and fill out a report instead of confronting the person, as it can so easily be interpreted as "rule lawering". - a bit of a problem. - personally, i like to talk ot the person first - not only to see who i am dealing with.... but it would also help myself to calm down.

when i just lost a fight - or someone ruined my personal RP at the moment by engaging me and even making me retreat or blow up... i am upset.... too upset to be unbiased. - by talking to the person... trying to be calm - i actually calm down... and after a few minutes, the reason to report someone becomes meaningless sometimes.
