While we're at this topic why not open up some of these minor NPC names for "canonisation"?

For example if one wanted to retire from roleplaying a character that was a transport captain, it would be a nice touch if it could still exist in-game as an NPC.

Same could be applied to bar NPCs. Like, imagine going to a Freeport and there's Bessie Bishop BHG NPC telling me how she used to be an adventurer like me before she took a blaster shot to the left wing.

I would love to see the Inn if I were to stop RPing as an NPC. And maybe the 'famous' People that are kinda legendary and everyone knows their name could be candidates for NPC 'immortality' .

I'm fine with that (within reason).

Person names are a little tricky though, due to the way the game generates them. It's two separate lists of names, first names and surnames. There's no specific way to guarantee a full name. You could enter the entire name as a first name, and then it'd look like "first middle surname", I suppose.

Bit funky. I'd have to think about how that would practically work.
