The slight background noise that continued throughout the message was the result of the person recording it working non-stop to repair a damaged fighter as he spoke. It did little to interfere with the voice, though, which was slightly distorted by the helmet. Freud turned his head towards the camera from time to time, but his hands continued to work as he did, as if moving independently of his will.

"Revenant."

"I understand that you're a busy woman, but I hope you don't mind me taking a bit of your time. Have a couple of things I felt you could provide valuable input on. At least, you've clearly dealt with those things far more than most people I know. I'll try not to take too long."

"First... After the recent Dublin action I've attended a funeral. Which was surprisingly filled with all kinds of unexpected guests. One of which got me thinking. It was apperently some kind of AI, some other people knew it as "Novak" or something like that. It seemed pretty angry about some AI tech being present on one girl's ship. Do you know if that's a... common sentiment among beings like that?"

"I'm asking because, well... I still have my old Junker habits. Sometimes I can't resist... Appropriating some things that seem interesting from debris. Sometimes I use them in my own craft. And, well, I already have enough people who are more than happy to shoot me."

"Second... Is more complicated. I felt that I needed some imput outside of TFP on that. Recently some legionaries of old have returned... Cohort they called "WENDIGO". Claiming that their "benevolent" alien entity, "Psyche", which I encountered at one point, granted them greater degree of autonomy. Now, I don't like the idea of an alien playing god with people's lives and deciding on amount of free will it would grant, but... I realize that my personal feelings matter little in this case. We can't exactly be picky with our allies right now. Still... I'm not sure it would be wise to trust them with my back."
