I'm experimenting with short-form, impactful events with temporary characters that greatly help defining a permanent character's evolution.

Concluded events:
Erie Retreat: The Scouts
Eavesdroppers: Tomoe

Ongoing events:

I ask you:

Do you like the format?
Does it make for a good read?
How's the length? Too short? Too long?
Context lacking? Should I add in-depth context that triggered the event (if any)?
Would you like to participate in one of these events?

I'd like to point out that not even I know the outcome of such events. I feed an "eventmaster" AI with context, and it decides by itself on what should (or could) happen next. This keeps things interesting for everyone - me included.
