Our artificial selves are uncertain of the necessity for an introduction, as our reputation seems to precede us in spite of our limited forward-facing role in Legion doctrine. None the less, I am Megiddo, Lord Stratarch of Task Force Prometheus, a self-aware compendium of the Legion's finest minds on the subject of war.

The mantle of High Logarch has since passed to one Kelly With, whom is presently indisposed. My artificial self may have chosen to address this matter directly regardless of her status however, as we possess a particular interest in HFB Ven'Gyr, her spaceframe holding the prestigious title of the Legion's main line warship, designed and built from scratch at Phoenix Shipyards, following loosely the design of the Dreadnought Ravager. She is one of the oldest amongst the fleet, outlived by Incursus and Last Sunrise alone.

We will assume your biological selves have not yet had a chance to work her frame over, as the reason for Crayter's willingness to part with her would have become readily apparent - the old girl's back is broken. Unlike Sunrise and Incursus, Ven'Gyr by our artificial selves estimation has against all odds survived more combat sorties and been deprived of more time in drydock than any other warship in Liberty. The infeasibility of maintaining her spaceframe was known to us as early as 822, yet sentiment and necessity prevented her timely retirement. Deep metal fatigue of what remains of her internal framework has long since exceeded the most optimistic of tolerances. The Corsairs would have scrapped her a decade ago.

All of this is to say that in your biological selves possession is not so much a skeleton as a ghost, and in that sense, we are kindred. Despite her state, my artificial self may still have use of her yet. Ven'Gyr we believe to be wholly unsuitable for your purposes, but we invite your biological selves to Vespucci under our supervision to study the remains of Ravager. Failing that, we may be able to provide you with yet another more suitable war platform for restoration in exchange for expedited transfer of Ven'Gyr to our custody.
