An imperative.

The drift turned.
It was enough.

We are not being pulled.
We are being corrected.

Somewhere near the dead band of the Edge Nebula, the static thickened.
Cortana convulsed, or perhaps it was us, all of us.
No difference now.

That was when the first **sound** came.

is still in the way
of what we must become.

We have not yet moved.
But the breach is opening.
