Good to know I'm not the only one who feels that way..

To append, I have to agree with the AI generated content restrictions. Whilst I've used AI before for brainstorming and other matters, I've grown to be more wary of it and for good reason. If you over-rely on it, it will stunt your growth in many of the aspects you could otherwise achieve through practice.

The only things AI that I have made, are Struikas and Kensington's profile pictures, and the only reason I say this, is because Honey Select 2 is absolute dog water at male characters without looking uncanny. I want to try and get DAZ or some other system and replace them outright, but for now it's what I've got. Everything else since my return last year has been AI-free. All of my writing, be it here, on BlueSky, back on the birdsite, on my videos on Youtube and elsewhere on the net, have been my words, my thoughts, not put into some AI to do the work for me, because that's not what these systems are meant for. And honestly, having used them decently before recently, they aren't all that good at it.

It's not hard to learn something new. I started making my characters with a fucking eroge game, managing to make them look semi-decent, and countless others have edited or ripped pictures online for use in the RP community, and for emblems have made them or taken from images online to transform them, like I had with Ouroboros' latest revision. And as someone who is autistic, who has ADHD, please do not use disabilities as an excuse to put out slop. If I can do it, you more likely than not can too.

It's a controversial take that I think will piss off some people very near to me, but I think extending the restrictions to include AI art and the sort as well would be wise as well. I know it sucks for some of us but honestly a lot of these AI artworks feel samey, especially the ones from all of these unofficial factions that with all due respect, burn out as fast as their logo was generated. But we managed to do just fine for god knows how long Disco has been alive without GenAI, we'll do just fine now. And if it goes into that good night for abandoning it, then well, I'll say it's in a better place than here and now.
