Buonasera famiglia,

I'm not sure how to make sense of this situation, so I'll try and keep this brief. I accompanied Capo di Medici to respond to a patrol report of increased activity in Tau-31. Seemingly unknown ships that could be disturbing our cardamine supply routes. After we searched the system, we learned said unknown ships were already destroyed thanks to information disclosed from a traveling researcher. Said ships were said to be of Kusari origin, with few ships to be of Molly, or Rheinland design.

While accompanying the researcher, we decided to venture into Coronado to investigate some strange sightings. The system has undergone a very drastic change. The biggest change would be one of the moons around Planet Salina, Jericho. There's some sort of field around it? Possibly alien? I don't know. This is out of my expertise. According to the researcher, seems "this all kicked off in Coronado after that beam in Ontario struck it."

Regardless, I've got new orders from Capo di Medici:

-Increase patrols near Coronado
-All famiglia ships are to stay out of Coronado until we return for an investigation

Aformentioned researcher Thallia Thorn will stay on Freeport 10 in Tau-37, and is our guest for the time being. Don't shoot her.
