Good day,

Section 8 is aware of a recent uptick in the acquisition and distribution of artifacts - both inactive and otherwise - throughout the colonies, likely owed to recent developments in the far Omicrons. Section 8 assets have been deployed to the Omicrons to join in patrol and interdiction operations.

We are open to coordinating with other friendly parties in order to stem the flow of these dangerous materials, but must insist that any joint operations are carried out under the Order's ultimate authority. I am afraid other parties lack the expertise and means to safely secure, contain, and if need be dispose of these alien artifacts.
