Prime Minister signs off new defense budget plans

New Tokyo - 03.07.835 Surprise meeting of the Diet concluded - Defense Budget to jump by factor two and a half within the next two years In a session barred public access, the Kusari Diet came together during the early morning hours today to 'discuss matters of national security'. By 5:21am this morning, the new budget plan was signed into effect by Imperial Prime Minister Miyasu. As per information provided by Sunrise representatives, the new budget plan permits for: "A vast modernization and expansion project of the IAF, primarily the IKN, in pursuit of long-term stability and intimidation of newfound threats to sector-wide stability." Our analysts concluded that this sudden increase could lead to the establishment of two full sized Tokugawa-led groups within the next 3 years in addition to overhauls to the existing fleet.
