"Hello there Frau Freud, looks like curiosity has you too, Heisenberg is drawing all sorts of Kindles seeking answers from the darkest parts of Rheinland. I do hope you slept well... You were exhausted from even the moment you undocked that we decided to stay around to ensure you were okay even after Doctor Thorn took her leave.
As I told Doctor Thorn, I usually only come around when there is bad news, I always encounter a number of equally eccentric folk due to shared circumstances on this frontier and it's usually not always on good cases like earlier. (Ours was indeed a rarity that I enjoyed very much!) So even in an open minded organization, my tribe must accept stewardship of a frontier-realm that would sometimes be frightening to the most progressive, we wish to ensure that we do not label ourselves as persona non-grata across our stellar vessel for the aggression of those who wish to place themselves above the rules of the Void. I wasn't exactly conditioned for civilian life so it seems me and the Platform found a fair trade to steadily help each other on a 'cultural' basis.
I must not cast my compatriots of the Platform into the darkness, they are (in my eyes) the best of what humanity has to offer direct from its kindness and moral understanding of its heart, and a true long term path for the ideals of how we should define ourselves across the stars, we must help them flourish across the Void in true synergy. They are good people... And are incredibly passionate about their goals for equal and fair empowerment that has my full support. They have given us sanctuary, freedoms, aid and purpose. But one I value the most, a place for us to be... Us. I won't let superstition overwrite what we have gained in understanding our own individuality from the compassion and labor they have shared. But I hope that gives you an explanation, or maybe an over explanation, of such things... Simple stigmas that provide a nice covert layer of reciprocal ignorance that allows us to be wardens into these extra-steller matters while they help us regain our sense of humanity.
Other than that, I've heard you'll be assisting the good doctor into efforts onboard Heisenberg. I must reinforce that you kindles do not get complacent and careless within such 'frontier-realms' as sometimes ones mind will be as equal as the armor we wear, its known around here that faces hide more than just the mind of the 'one.' Although we do usually keep a very good eye on who may have underlying intentions within such fragile lands... Rheinland has a history that lives within its shadow, we are its 'eyes in the dark.'
