[06.07.2025 19:09:50] BDM|LV-Hrimfaxi: ZS-Ariel you are ordered to cut your engines and prepare for inspection.
[06.07.2025 19:10:04] ZS-Ariel: Since when are Freelancers inspecting ships?
[06.07.2025 19:10:11] BDM|LV-Hrimfaxi: Since now.
[06.07.2025 19:10:24] BDM|LV-Hrimfaxi: This is your final warning.
[06.07.2025 19:10:43] BDM|LV-Hrimfaxi: You are carrying dangerous xeno artifacts, you will drop them now.
[06.07.2025 19:10:55] ZS-Ariel: Why would I do that, Freelancer?
[06.07.2025 19:11:03] ZS-Ariel: What is do you care what I'm carrying?
[06.07.2025 19:11:12] BDM|LV-Hrimfaxi: Because our guns are trained on you, and that should be all you care about.
[06.07.2025 19:11:34] ZS-Ariel: What do you have to gain from me dropping the XRs?
[06.07.2025 19:11:36] BDM|LV-Hrimfaxi: Very well. We shall collect them by force.
[06.07.2025 19:11:41] ZS-Ariel: Whoa
[06.07.2025 19:11:43] ZS-Ariel: Hold your fire
[06.07.2025 19:11:51] ZS-Ariel died to BDM|LV-Hrimfaxi(100%)
Shame on me for trying to RP. I should have simply avoided the interaction. Way better.
While I can understand your concerns regarding the lack of sufficient roleplay, please do not mix up rp with server rules.
2.1 cleary states:

So what do we have here?
A random transporter demanded a load of alien materials from your ship. You refused and got shoot.
It is perfectly fine rp to lie or not providing enough information to denial any consequences for the respective faction. It is your rp turn now to handle the outcome.
Here are some ideas:
Contact the manufactor of the ship (Bristol) and complain about being pirated. They will be diplomatically forced to handle the incident (e.g. by bountying that ship) or the information about their ships are used for piracy might spread.
Ask yourself, why the pilot of a BDM| tagged ship with Freelancer IFF instructed you to hand out your cargo and don't play dumb.
(Hint: This was clearly an unexperienced undercover agent)
Contact the official faction of your ship (if any) and ask for help.
Hire a group of mercenaries yourself to handle the pirate.
