Coming soon, we will be implementing a revised Interspace Commerce ID. This will read as follows:
Interspace ID Wrote:This Liberty Corporate ID is used by employees of Interspace Commerce, who:
Can attack Lane Hackers.
Can engage in piracy against competitors outside of House Space.
Cannot use Cruisers, Battlecruisers, Battleships, or ships with more than 3,600 cargo space, except the Renzu Liner.
Within Zone of Influence (Systems containing a Sirius Trade Lane):
Can attack ships considered hostile by Interspace.
Can attack competitors outside of House Space.
Can engage in piracy against non-Gallic Corporate ships, except for cargo.
This Liberty Corporate ID is used by employees of Interspace Commerce, who:
- Can attack Lane Hackers.
- Can engage in piracy against competitors outside of House Space.
- Cannot use Cruisers, Battlecruisers, or Battleships.

- Can attack competitors outside of House Space.
- Can demand credits from Corporate ships outside of House Space.
The expanded piracy line (without the house space restriction!) is intended to represent the leverage Interspace holds over (Sirian) corporations as an insurance and loan provider, and financier of gates and lanes, to demand additional fees or roleplay demands, such as forcing a trader to accept paid escort services as loss prevention. The cargo restriction is to clarify that IC is not intended to be played as a bulk shipping ID.
Normally ID changes like this aren't announced in advance, but since the ID also includes a drop in cargo capacity to 3 600, this announcement is to give players a chance to switch IDs or ships.
The changes will go live one week from now, on the server restart of July 19th. At that point, any Interspace ship exceeding the cargo limit will be given a complementary Universal Shipping ID.
